Tourims Minister Shri Baghel called on Union MoS Tourism Shri Patel
Urges to include Mandu in World Heritage list
Bhopal : The Minister for Tourism Shri Surendra Singh Baghel took part in the National Conference of Tourism Ministers of States, organized by the Union Tourism Ministry in New Delhi today. Shri Baghel informed the Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) Shri Prahalad Patel about the ongoing tourism projects, activities and facilities in Madhya Pradesh.
Minister Shri Baghel urged him to get the historical tourism site Mandavgarh (Mandu) of the state included in the World Heritage list of UNESCO. He presented a dossier on Mandu to Shri Prahalad Patel. Shri Baghel also held discussions on various issues of tourism development in the state.
The Union Minister of State Shri Patel lauded the ongoing tourism activities in Madhya Pradesh. He gave assurance for full cooperation to promote tourism in the state.
Secretary Toursim Shri Faiz Ahmed Qidwai and Senior Officers of the state were present at the National Conference.
